The holidays are near and the women's shelter in your area could use your help!

Looking for an act of kindness to bestow during the holiday season? Let us point you in the right direction, The holidays provide a great opportunity to help your local shelter. Consider donating new, unopened items, from the following list:

  • Small kitchen appliances
  • Pots and pans, baking ware
  • Cutlery, serving and cooking utensils
  • Drinking glasses and dishes
  • Linens (towels, sheets, pillows, dish towels, comforter, blankets, etc)
  • Toys for children and items suitable for teens
  • Office and school supplies (backpacks, lunch bags, pens, pencils, markers, highlighters, etc)
  • Non-perishable foods (coffee, rice, pasta sauce, canned fruits & vegetables, etc)
  • Clothing (pyjamas, winter coats, underwear, socks, etc)
  • Footwear (slippers, running shoes, winter boots, etc)
  • Hair dryers, curling irons, styling products, hair brushes and accessories
  • Gift cards (department stores, book stores, gas vouchers, movie passes, grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops, major shopping malls, phone cards, etc.)
  • Cleaning supplies (detergent, dish soap, garbage bags, paper towel, etc)
  • Toiletries (toilet paper, Kleenex, body lotions, shampoo & conditioner, deodorant, body wash, toothpaste and toothbrush, feminine hygiene products,
  • Baby items (diapers, wipes, formula, baby monitors )
  • Make up and costume jewellery
  • Over-the-counter medications (cough syrup, pain relief, vitamins, etc)
