Effective March 31, 2010, the ecoENERGY Retrofit program that provided grants of up to $5,000 to Canadians who make their homes more energy efficient, stopped accepting new bookings for pre-retrofit evaluations. Homeowners who have pre-retrofit evaluations already scheduled remain eligible to apply to the program. Homeowners are required to complete their renovations and follow-up with a post-retrofit evaluation and submit their application by March 31, 2011.
