Don’t dump it, donate it! Turn your e-waste into homes for Habitat. Habitat for Humanity Niagara has a new E-Waste program where you can drop off your old technology, electronic and household appliances at the ReStore located on 150 Bunting Rd in St. Catharines. There is no charge to you and no limit on the quantity that can be donated. Examples of items you can drop off include:

o Desktop & portable computers, monitors, TVs, keyboards

o Phone, answering machines, cellular devices & pagers

o Image, audio & video devices: speakers, cameras, camcorders

o Appliances: microwaves, blenders, mixers, vacuums, carpet cleaners, central vacs, purifiers, fans, heaters, humidifiers

Habitat for Humanity Niagara – Kitchen Salvage Crew

A skilled team of volunteers will come to your home and remove your old kitchen to make room for your renovation. They will work within your construction timetable and their team will cap all plumbing lines and grommet all electrical feeds, and leave a clean and contractor ready space. By using the Kitchen Salvage Crew at Habitat for Humanity Niagara, you will:

o Save $600-$800 on contractor costs & waste disposal fees

o Receive a CRA tax receipt for your donation when your kitchen is sold

o Help protect the environment by saving useable materials from ending up in landfill

o Help support Habitat for Humanity Niagara’s home building program from the sale of your kitchen
